"Ken Stanton Music is the largest independently owned and operated music store in the southeast. Started in 1949, Ken Stanton started the school music programs in several Cobb county schools in metro Atlanta. He went on to service many of the schools throughout much of Georgia. His son Kenny Stanton took over just about the time that rock and roll started to really come into its own, and through his guidance, turned Ken Stanton Music into a combo powerhouse, out doing and out lasting many, much larger competitors. As Ken Stanton Music approaches its 7th decade, servicing metro Atlanta, it remains a great place to shop for the local musician and also a great place to work. Kenny's son Zack Stanton is also involved with the business, so as the company continues to grow and handle changes that will come in music retail, a third generation on Stanton's is ready as well."
