About Alessandro

Alessandro Jacobi (b. July 25th 1984 in Treviso, Italy) studied violin, classical singing, piano, music theory and classical harmony in various schools in northern Italy, and begun performing at a very young age in theaters and competitions.

At the age of 15 picks up an electric bass, first attending the Lizard Academy in Italy, and then at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, finally getting his degree at London’s Trinity College.

Since 2011 he is the bassist of the power metal band Elvenking, with whom he toured multiple times Europe, South America and Japan, performing in all the biggest European festivals, recording 4 full length albums and receiving in 2018 a triple gold record for having sold more than 80,000 copies worldwide.

Elvenking’s latest album, Reader of the Runes – Divination, entered the general charts in Germany at #43

In 2018 he forms Moonlight Haze, recording their debut album which immediately receives critical acclaim in Europe and Japan; in the meantime he performs with the Iron Maiden tribute band Iron Curtain.
